Vicki Anstey

Founder of London’s original Barre and Ballet studio

Channel 4’s SAS Who Dares Wins finalist, Adventurer

Vicki Anstey founded London’s original Barre and Ballet studio, Barreworks, and in doing so set the scene for the wider barre works fitness movement throughout the UK. Vicki now helps others to set up their own fitness businesses through her own courses and was named Female Entrepreneur of the year at the Richmond Business Awards 2019.

Last year Vicki became one of the first female recruits to qualify for the channel 4 programme ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ in which she reached the final. Since her participation on this show Vicki has become an advocate for women’s resilience, grit and determination. In June of next year Vicki will be embarking on a new challenge -joining a crew of 3 other ‘ordinary’ women to row 4000km from California to Hawaii. But Vicki has not always been at the forefront of fitness; previously unhealthy and by her own admittance overweight, she made a number of changes to her life that led to her successful business career and personal achievements.

Vicki talks about reaching our genetic potential (mental as well as physical) – she tells us that we all have it in us to success if we are driven to do so. Along the way Vicki has overcome a fear of heights and water, has navigated and managed a number of personal obstacles and since developed a level of mental and physical resilience that have allowed her to push herself more than she ever thought possible.

Refreshing, honest and humble; Vicki is a sought-after speaker. She will inspire, definitely empower whilst also motivating the audience that they can always take that extra step.
