Following a successful 21-year career in the Royal Air Force, culminating with the prestigious rank of Group Captain, Victoria has continued to hit new career heights. Victoria leads the way in business at Board and Director level and is an advisor and supporter of a number of organisations, charities and campaigns across sport, business and military.
Victoria was instrumental in the success of the well-known Invictus Games; having supported the inaugural games in 2014, as Military project Lead. She subsequently took on the CEO role For Invictus Games 2016 held in Orlando, and she remains involved as Strategic Advisor for the UK Delegation Board.
During her time in the Royal Air Force Victoria served on numerous deployments around the world including Iraq and prior to the inaugural Invictus Games she was the Base Support Commander for a Support Helicopter Base of 2500 personnel providing support to Operation Herrick, Afghanistan. It was for her military service that Victoria was appointed as a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 2004 and was subsequently appointed as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in 2014 for her commitment to RAF Benson and adaptive sports.
Victoria is herself a passionate sportswoman and dedicates most of her spare time promoting sport across various sectors. She is Chief Executive of GB Snowsport; Custodian for the Rugby Centurions ; Head of Social Impact for a rapidly growing FinTech Business; and Military Ambassador for the Jockey Club and Sage PLC.
Victoria is a mother of 3 young children; an inspiring example of someone who can effectively and successfully navigate both family, work and personal development.
